What is a Domestic Abuse Related Death Review?
An independent statutory review following a qualifying domestic abuse-related death. It identifies learning about how agencies worked together and how future responses can improve; it is not a criminal or disciplinary investigation.
A statutory review under section 44 of the Care Act 2014 where an adult with care and support needs has died or experienced serious abuse or neglect, and there is concern agencies could have worked more effectively.
This portfolio includes reviews that have been formally published and are already available in the public domain. Reviews awaiting quality assurance, approval or publication are not included. Links are provided to the official publishing organisation wherever available.
