Accessibility
statement.

Last updated: 20 September 2026

PS Safeguarding Ltd wants this website and its professional learning resources to be clear, inclusive and usable by as many people as possible.

1. Our commitment

We aim to provide information in a way that supports different access needs, devices and ways of navigating. Accessibility is considered when website pages, interactive tools and downloadable resources are created or updated.

2. Using this website

The website is designed to support keyboard navigation, visible keyboard focus, meaningful headings, descriptive links, text alternatives for informative images and layouts that adapt to different screen sizes.

You should be able to enlarge text using your browser, navigate the main content without a mouse and use common screen-reading and voice-control software. Browser and device settings can also be used to adjust text size, colour and contrast.

3. Accessibility standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA where reasonably practicable. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and new content or functions may require further review after publication.

4. Known limitations

Some downloadable PDF publications contain complex visual layouts, diagrams or infographics and may not yet provide the same level of accessibility as the main website. Some documents may be difficult to navigate with assistive technology or when heavily magnified.

The interactive LOOK Safeguarding Framework is intended to support reflective practice. We continue to review its keyboard operation, printed output and compatibility with assistive technology.

Recent source and interaction checks do not certify full WCAG or PDF/UA conformance. Further checks on real mobile devices, screen readers and signed-in practitioner functions remain part of our accessibility work.

5. Alternative formats

If you need information in another format, such as a more accessible document, larger text or a plain-text version, please contact us. We will consider the request and aim to provide a reasonable alternative where possible.

HTML reading versions and tagged PDF reading editions are available for the priority publications listed on our resource reading page. These complement the original designed PDFs. You can enlarge the HTML text and read it in a single column.

6. Feedback and contact

If you experience an accessibility difficulty, please email contact@pssafeguarding.co.uk. Please tell us which page or resource you were using, what difficulty occurred and, if helpful, the device or assistive technology involved.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility enquiries within two working days.

7. Reviewing this statement

This statement will be reviewed when significant website changes are made and periodically as content and accessibility guidance develop. The latest version will remain available on this page.
